Synthpop band SHAED booked a rare hometown show Saturday June 15th at The Atlantis, which quickly sold out. The following Saturday June 22nd they’re playing again, so don’t miss out.
Thoughtful indie pop band The North Country release their new album The Future's All We Need at the Black Cat on Friday July 19th with the highly danceable Mystery Friends.

The United Musicians and Allied Workers bring the hype for the Living Wage for Musicians Act, recently introduced into Congress by Reps. Jamaal Bowman and Rashida Tlaib, with a delightfully diverse Thursday night music showcase at the Black Cat featuring acoustic guitar composer Yasmin Williams, frontwoman and community organizer Dior Ashley Brown, and the impossibly-named Baltimore band @.

Friday April 19th
90s-ish indie rock band Milo in the Doldrums have been working for a really long time on their debut full length album, and they seem really excited to play the whole thing for the first time Friday night at The Pie Shop. Their assembled bill of southern rock band GXB and Sen. Chuck Schumer’s fave The House You Grew Up In is 100% DMV and 100% solid.
Saturday April 20th
Some of you may remember the thankfully brief closure earlier this year of Slash Run’s sister bar/venue The Runaway. Sitcom-core band The Electric Grandmother subsequently took on booking duties for the venues, which culminated in this weekend-long benefit Bad Reputation Fest. Saturday’s lineup includes, deep breath: Czonka, Teething Veils, El Quatro, Bassmasters, Herschel Hoover, BUKO BUKO, EG themselves, and lots more.
