Tuesday November 28th
Electric fiddle player Dave Kline concludes his November Tuesday night residency at Blues Alley with frequent collaborators Ken Avis and Lynn Veronneau, and renowned harmonica player and United States Senator from Virginia Tim Kaine. The 7 PM show is sold out, so grab tickets for the 9 PM set now.
Wednesday November 29th
On Wednesday night Takoma Park DIY space Rhizome presents a night of side projects from DC punks. Messiah In Glytch features John Wesley Moon of the Cornel West Theory; Nico Sophia is also a member of Sister Polygon band Knife Wife; and Jacky Cougar and the Vampires From Africa takes its name from a song by Cougar’s band Des Demonas.
Thursday November 30th
Two Latin women with deep roots in the DC music scene, Elena La Fulana and Taisha Estrada (who also fronts rock band Outerloop), share 7DrumCity’s intimate Pocket stage Thursday evening.
Friday December 1st
Incredibly, the first of two shows of reunited 90s indie rock bands Velocity Girl and Tuscadero at Black Cat is not sold yet sold out, but that won’t last long. Experimental electronic punk supergroup Ecstatic International, featuring members of Priests, Des Demonas, Ex Hex, Olivia Neutron-John, and Bottled Up, kicks off the Friday night show.

Saturday December 2nd

Sunday December 3rd
The MusicianShip organization, current stewards of the long-running Wammies Awards for DC-area music, highlight the beginning of the 2024 awards nomination window with a showcase of 2023 awards winners. Songbyrd provides the stage Sunday night for Black Rave Culture, Outerloop, Pretty Bitter, and Autumn LaBella.
