Wednesday April 5th
The Essential Tremors podcast from Baltimore’s WYPR and Matt Byars of The Caribbean has recently featured a fantastic run of interviews with bands centered around the Big Ears music festival. This Wednesday night they take over Edgewood’s City-State Brewing to present London art-rock band caroline, fresh off last weekend’s festival, along with our own chill rock stars The Caribbean.

Synthpop fans are in heaven at Thursday night’s show at Comet Ping Pong with our faves Color Palette and Pretty Bitter (fka nah.) playing with Austin TX’s TC Superstar.
Friday April 7th
This month’s installment of the veteran post-punk DJ night We Fought The Big One returns to its new home at the new record shop art sound language in Chevy Chase with a live electronics set from Secret Wilderness and DJ spins from Chris Callasham of Teenbeat act Sexual Milkshake. No cover!
Saturday April 8th
Celebrate the new “compact disc” The Next Day by beloved sitcom-core weirdos The Electric Grandmother Saturday night at The Runaway. Other celebrants include Krime Slugs from Baltimore and two punk & post-punk DC bands, Public Figures and Capital Offender.
